Free DWG Viewer - a free program for viewing drawings and diagrams

 Developed by Informative Graphics Corporation, the Free DWG Viewer application is designed to view drawings and diagrams. The program is distributed free of charge, after installation it works autonomously, without restrictions on the declared functions. Regular updates are required to support a free license.

Features of DWG Viewer

The utility takes up no more than 60 Mbit on disk and requires 512 Mbit of RAM. Its purpose: to view, convert and print graphic files in DXF, DWG, DWF, XREF formats. The ActiveX component allows you to run the program as an extension in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Netscape browsers.

• mirror reflection;
• image rotation;
• enlargement of fragments;
• layering;
• determination of real dimensions of structures.

The black background of the working screen that opens at startup can be changed by selecting the main menu item. Processed files are saved in JPEG and JPG format, as well as in tabular CVS. To do this, select the chain in the main menu: "File", "Save View As" and disk space. The accuracy of the measurement results is ensured by the snap-to-geometry option (linking geometry measurement points). The interface is implemented in English.

A tool is built into the program that allows you to display both fragments of graphics and the entire file on the printer. If necessary, a watermark is applied to the image. Using the parameters, you can set the location of the object on paper and scale. When outputting to a roll plotter, print accuracy is adjusted.

The utility is recommended for presentations of graphic projects and training students in engineering specialties.
