Reason: Added data on file on Virustotal
The first version of the program, developed by Tennyson Maxwell Information Systems, Inc., was implemented in 1997, after which it was repeatedly developed and improved. Currently Teleport Pro is one of the most high-speed and multifunctional tools that allow you to download information from the most sophisticated modern websites on several streams simultaneously.
The main advantages of this program - Teleport is the only file that filters by size and type in DHTML, HTML 4.0, CSS 2.0 and many other formats, allows you to search by keywords and even provides access to sites that are locked with passwords.
Depending on the needs of the customer, the program either creates a full duplicate of the desired site (with the saved directory structure), which can be viewed from the hard drive without an Internet connection, or it is possible to request a partial download (by file mask), and then the user will receive only the necessary files ( or, on the contrary, a certain type of files will not be downloaded). Possible filtering by file size. If desired, the user can select the desired depth of passage through the site. And can set a restriction on the desired domain name.
Another convenient feature of this program is the organization of downloading according to a schedule (in this case there is a restriction on mass downloading, thus a ban on the downloaded site will be impossible). If, due to a failure, the site or the necessary files were not downloaded in one session, the next time the program will take this into account and only add to what was not received for the first time, the second download is not performed. The program will analyze all sites referenced from the central site in question. All links between the pages of the site will be automatically replaced by Teleport with local links. But the links excluded from downloading are replaced with real URLs, a message that they are missing, or an indication of the place on the disk where they are stored - at the discretion of the user.
